“I had the opportunity to learn Hindustani music with incredibly inspiring teachers who designed my voice lessons keeping in mind that I was more inclined to sing in the style of western music than Hindustani. I credit my teachers for recognizing my unique style and giving me the musical tools to develop my voice so I could sing different genres of music from around the world. My dream came true!”

For your lessons, you will:
• Pick a Bollywood film song you would like to sing. (We will find your comfortable key range)
• Sing with the electronic tanpura (drone) and keyboards as initial accompaniment.
• Learn a mix of Hindustani and Western vocal warm-up exercises that will build your practice routine.
• Work on Hindi language and pronunciation of song lyrics, in a fun and informative way.
• Be ready to sing your Bollywood song by the end of lesson 4!
